Thanks for visiting my site. I’m Capt. Billy Pettigrew the owner and operator of Com’ N’ Getit Fishing Charters. I grew up in Ormond Beach FL, and now reside in Port Orange FL. I developed a passion for fishing at a very young age, while fishing with my grandfather, who always had time to take me fishing and shrimping. I’m the proud father. When I’m not out on the water with a customer, or tournament fishing, I love taking my daughter out for a great day of fishing together.
I have almost 40 years of experience fishing the inshore waters of Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Flagler Beach, New Smyrna, and Edgewater. I’ve participated in many redfish tournaments throughout the years and one of the top anglers in the state of Florida. I’m also one of the top guides in the area surrounding Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and Flagler Beach. With many years of experience, I have learned to identifying fishing patterns, locating fish, and determining the best techniques for catching fish once they’ve been located. My expertise is not limited to redfish, but includes the many species found in our local waters including the Halifax River, Indian River, Smith Creek and Mosquito Lagoon. I’m also very experienced in fishing local area freshwater lakes for both bass and crappie. Feel confident when booking a charter with me. It’s a great time for anglers of all ages.

The most knowledgeable captain on the Halifax river if u want to catch fish he is the man to put u on them tell him what u want to catch and hang on .Top of the line equipment and very nice boat u want be sorry u chose to go with him.

Billy is the only captain that I will book with in the Daytona beach area.
I have fished with Billy multiple times. This past week we were in Daytona and Billy took my oldest and I out on the Halifax. To say we had a ball is an understatement. She has not stopped talking about our time fishing with Billy and she is already begging to go again next year. Billy is the only captain that I will book with in the Daytona beach area. I highly recommend using Billy.

My daughter and I recently went on a fishing charter trip that exceeded all my expectations! Captain Billy was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fishing, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The boat was well-maintained and equipped with everything needed, which definitely enhanced our chances of catching fish. We were taken to some fantastic spots, and were able to see a lot of the area while catching fish. He was great at providing tips and tricks, which was appreciated by myself and my 10 year old daughter. The man is wonderful with kids and has the patience of a saint. Overall, it was a fun and memorable day on the water, and I can’t wait to book another trip! Highly recommend!
