May Fishing report 2018

May for the Daytona Beach area is RED HOT. The spring has sprung for fishing here. The Tomoka Basin in the Ormond Beach area is teaming with Redfish and Trout along with Snook. All are eating finger mullet or live shrimp under a float or free-lining. The main river in Daytona Beach has Jacks busting schools of finger mullet. While Pone Inlet in Port Orange has Redfish and Snapper on the oyster bars in the creeks chewing on mud minnows.  This is a great time of the year to get out there and bend a rod.
