The bite is really great at first light on oyster bars. This time of year I am using small finger mullet, croakers (if you can find them), mud minnows and cut pinfish. The Trout are also showing up in some of these areas. If you are looking for 100 fish days head to Ponce Inlet in Port Orange. With the Jacks, Bluefish, Spanish, and Ladyfish are feeding heavy on the out going tide around the creeks and bends in the channels. You can also find Blacktips and Bonnethead sharks cruising the shallows looking for food. I like to use fresh cut bait for the Blacktips and crab or shrimp for the Bonnenthead Sharks. You can either creep the shallows looking for them or hold up in a cut and wait on them to come to you. Make sure you take a kid fishing and never forget to protect yourself from the sun.
